Crown Princess Victoria’s royal tours → Uganda and Ethiopia, 2002
Victoria accompanied officials from the Swedish Development Agency during her visit to these two African nations. The busy future Queen made the tour as part of her ongoing internship with the organisation. During the tour, she visited HIV and AIDS patients through the TASO organisation and delighted children by visiting local primary schools.

I think Kate’s wardrobe is so full of Alexander McQueen gowns that she can’t fit any other casual clothes in there except that boring blazer and skinny jeans combo.

Ladies of the Spanish Royal Family

Crown Princess Victoria’s royal tours → United States of America, 2001
The 24 year old Crown Princess visited the West Coast of America to celebrate the centenary of the Nobel Prize. The Swedish royal family attend the Nobel Prize ceremony every year. Victoria met with Nobel laureates during a centennial luncheon and a formal dinner. Highlights of the tour included meetings with Guggenheim Museum architect Frank Gehry and Bill Nye (yes, the Science Guy).

The Crown Princess visited Tokyo to promote Swedish culture and technology during a Swedish Style event. The two nations shared elements of their culture, with the Japanese hosts eating Swedish Princess Cake while Victoria donned the traditional kimono.

Are we going to stand back and spectate while the ugly foundations of a modern day dystopia are laid in front of our eyes? Or will our common humanity unite us and compel us to act to help save the people of Gaza?…
Queen Rania has written a moving article for the Huffington Post which discusses the situation in Gaza.
I’m doing a series of posts about Victoria’s royal tours because she’s my favourite and I love her. I have only included solo tours or tours carried out with Daniel. Visits with her parents or siblings have not been included. If I’ve missed any trips it’s because they didn’t fit my criteria or there were only a few/low quality images available.
Arrivals to George’s party and Kate driving to BP !
I was surprised prince and princess Michael went. She never associates with people she doesn’t like so I guess she isn’t one of the royals who supposedly hates Kate.
